Introducing Sign Snarlisms!

This isn't a video entry, but it would be nice to see a couple of video responses! My apologies for not producing any video clips lately. Real Life(tm) has a way of intruding, which I'm sure you all all but too familiar with.

Anyway, sign this sentence very, very fast! ;) (The words in parenthesis are normally not signed in ASL.)
* We should need some part (of) discuss(ing) hotdogs, not fake mice!

Already, I can see some pained groans and bruised cerebral cortexes everywhere! ;) As some of you may have already guessed, it's a Sign Snarlism! Of course, this catchy and alliterative name is modeled after its much more well known cousin, that of Tongue Twister. :)

Enjoy!

That is a good one for ASL classes to see the difference in the parameters of ASL!

Some other ideas that I thought up of before:

dry ugly summer

boring serious candy

Anyway, make sure Deaf Read picks up your posts. I didn't see them there.

Thank you for giving me a couple of neat examples! Hopefully DeafRead will pick up the blog entry soon.

That's really funny! I've thought about that as I teach my Jr. High students ASL.
